In its second year the “Stone Mad Half Marathon” 2022 will take place on the 16th of October at 9:30am. With help from our friends in Blarney-Inniscarra Athletics Club and Blarney Healthy Club we are delighted to bring to back to out beautiful village for this great race.
Starting on the Waterloo Road the course will take you on an initial lap of Blarney Village allowing runners to rapidly settle into the race, before returning back to the Waterloo Road where you will follow an out and back route to Rathduff Cross along the path of the River Martin. There will be chip timing and prize categories in each age group and overall winners.
Before proceeding please, note that you are entering the 2022 Stone Mad Half Marathon (21.1km/13.1 miles). The minimum age on race day is 18. Entrants should be capable of completing a half marathon in under 3 hours. This is to ensure full safety measures will be effective.
